Articulation Therapy

Articulation therapy is a type of speech therapy that focuses on improving the ability to pronounce sounds, syllables, and words clearly and accurately. The primary goal is to help individuals produce specific speech sounds correctly. This involves teaching the correct placement and movement of the articulators (tongue, lips, palate, etc.) for each targeted sound. Overall, articulation therapy aims to improve communication skills and boost the individual's confidence in verbal expression.

Phonological Disorder Treatment

Phonological disorder refers to a type of speech sound disorder where an individual has difficulty organizing and using sounds in spoken language. Therapy focuses on addressing the specific phonological patterns and errors exhibited by the individual. This may involve targeting individual speech sounds (phonemes) or addressing broader patterns of errors, such as substitutions, omissions, or distortions.

Language Therapy

Therapy is provided to support an individual's language skills, including receptive language (understanding spoken language), expressive language (using spoken language), and other aspects such as vocabulary, grammar, and pragmatics (social language).

Feeding Therapy

Feeding therapy focuses on promoting your child's eating and feeding skills. Assessment and treatment available for oral motor deficits to promote mature eating patterns needed to break down and manipulate foods safely and effectively, sensory-based approach learning which allows for children to explore foods using all their senses, and mealtime routines to enhance mealtime for the entire family.

Fluency Therapy

Fluency therapy, also known as stuttering therapy or fluency disorder intervention, is a specialized form of speech therapy designed to help individuals who experience difficulties with fluency, particularly those who stutter. Stuttering is characterized by disruptions in the normal flow of speech, including repetitions of sounds or syllables, prolongations of sounds, and blocks where the individual may struggle to produce a sound. Treatment focuses on building an individual’s knowledge of stuttering, fostering positive emotions and beliefs related to stuttering, and providing strategies and tools to make communicating less effortful.

AAC Assessment and Therapy

AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) intervention is a specialized approach within speech-language therapy that aims to support individuals with communication disorders who may have difficulty using verbal speech as their primary means of communication. AAC involves using various tools and strategies to augment or provide an alternative to spoken language.
