Hi there! I’m Christy, a licensed speech and language pathologist in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating with my bachelors from Illinois State University, I moved on down to St. Louis for graduate school while studying at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. I now live in Ukrainian Village with my husband and our dog, Althea.
I have worked as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings including public schools, private schools, therapeutic day schools, and outpatient clinics.
My approach for speech and language therapy involves creating meaningful relationships with my clients by individualizing treatment plans around my clients’ passions and interests. I believe that therapy should be fun for everyone involved! I provide evidence-based practices while celebrating and embracing differences.
As a nuerodivergent individual, I understand the importance of authenticity in order to establish a positive sense of self and promote self-love. My goal is to help individuals build communication skills while empowering them to discover themselves in this journey of life!
